My Thoughts

Family Time During The Winter Holidays

The Winter Holidays are my favorite part of the year. I am sure many of you share the same feeling as I do. Come on, let’s face it, who doesn’t like Winter Holidays? Even if you’re not a Christian, you must feel the vibe of coziness and the gathering of your entire family during these days. The final days of each year, our entire family gathers at my grandma’s place. We reminisce about the old days, laugh, joke and talk about regular family thinks. The nostalgia never ceases to amaze me. It kicks in right at the most beautiful moments, most frequently when the Winter Holidays are already coming to a close and everybody has to go back to their usual working routine… and that makes me sad each and every year.

Luckily, now that my son is all grown up (well, he’s almost 10 so he’s not exactly all grown up… but still, I hope you know what I am talking about here 🙂 ), and my hubby has a work-from-home routine set up, the most important family is always home. In other words, some would say that my Winter Holidays last throughout the entire year. And that, my darlings, is the beauty of motherhood. Being with your loved ones during every minute of their lives… That’s what matters the most!

Stay positive,

Being a Teen Mom…

So here I am guys, I am 25 years old and I have a dearest son called Mike. And God knows that he and Tom (my hubby) are the 2 most precious things I cherish in my life. Mike is almost 10 years old (his birthday is in February which means just 2 more months until his 10th birthday) and he is the sweetest boy I’ve ever met… And I am not saying that just because he is my son.

Anyways, I just wanted to write this blog post in order to let all teen moms (and teen moms to be) that things are not that bad if you get pregnant in those years. Most people consider it as the end of their life, but they are actually not looking at the start of the new one. That little life that’s going to come out of yours. Keep in mind that is going to be your everything, your Sun, your stars, your whole wide world. Even though the society pressures you into doing drastic things, just keep on pushing for yourself and eventually, you will have the chance to look back at that time just like I did… with a beautiful, healthy boy that considers you his everything. And that’s the whole beauty of it, my ladies. Being the queen to your little prince. That’s something in which age doesn’t count as a quantifier. In our case, age is just a number, what’s more important is the mindset you set up to have in the very start. Become positive, stay positive, and good things will prevail…
